Paul joins retired wildlife biologist Ron Joseph, author of the new memoir Bald Eagles, Bear Cubs, and Hermit Bill at the Camden Public Library to discuss their long friendship and how their time together in the North Woods have informed Paul’s mysteries and Ron’s often comic, always informational essays about Maine’s flora, fauna, and folkways. “No one has taught me more about the North Maine Woods than my friend Ron Joseph,” Paul writes in his introduction to Ron’s book. Copies of both Paul’s novels and Ron’s memoir will be for sale at the event.
